F-35 Research and Technology Analyst
The Opportunity:
As an aerospace engineer, you know leading-edge te chn ology and digital engineering tools are critical to national defense. At Booz Allen, you can use your engineering expertise to identify current and future capability gaps, map te chn ology challenges with potential solutions, and assist transition planning to develop next-generation F-35 capabilities. We need your skills and expertise in training systems, mission systems, and platform avionics.
As a member of our Research and Te chn ology team, you'll provide expertise to evaluate new te chn ologies, perform risk assessments, and improve the design of F-35 avionics systems. Your experience in te chn ology transition planning and DoD acquisition processes is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.
In the Future Capabilities and Te chn ology Directorate you can contribute by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace te chn ology. You'll collaborate with a large community of interest across the firm and collaborate with warfighters from the U.S. Services and F-35 Partners to manage, lead, and deliver world-class te chn ology to address training capability gaps and challenges in the F-35 Air System. Your engineering knowledge can help F-35 pilots' in-cockpit and in-simulator training experience to improve their fight lethality and readiness.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 6+ years of experience with systems engineering in platform mission or training systems
- Experience in U.S. DoD program acquisition processes
- Experience with program management processes such as te chn ical readiness assessments
- Experience with virtual tools
- Ability to thi nk , plan, and work at the tactical level
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in Fighter, Bomber, or TACAIR
- Experience with USN, USMC, or USAF major aerospace acquisition programs and their S & T resources, including AFRL, ONR, or NAVAIR
- Experience collaborating with international programs and governments
- Knowledge of various S & T funding and transition sources such as SBIR, ManTech, or Rapid Innovation Fund
- Knowledge of the U.S. DoD Planning, Programming, Budget ing, and Execution ( PPBE ) process
- Ability to thi nk , plan, and work at the strategic level
- Possession of excellent communication and networking skills
- TS / SCI clearance
