As technical editor on our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing and revising intelligence or communication products and other documents prepared by DoD analysts for publication. The technical editor works with primary authors to edit/rewrite products for organization, grammar, style, accuracy, consistency of technical data, etc. Advises management and analysts with expert technical knowledge of the DIA Style Guide. The ability to operate on short timelines, flexibility, and excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. At the discretion of the Division Chief, technical editor is assigned to support crisis management operations, edit desk notes for the senior leaders, and review products for dissemination to partner services. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products
- 3+ years of experience as a technical editor in an IC organization
- Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy
- Ability to apply IC analytic standards and analytic tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements to the production of all-source intelligence products
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of professional working experience or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional working experience

- Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and ICD 203 tradecraft standards
- Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
