Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Kubernetes Platform Engineer, Senior
Key Role:

Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with configmaps, RBAC, StatefulSets, and DaemonSets
- Experience with containerization, including Docker and image creation, and advanced scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, and basic Golang
- Experience with version control, including advanced Git usage and branching strategies, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD Gitlab pipelines, designing and implementing HA solutions, advanced DR strategies and implementation, and advanced knowledge in Helm templating and manipulation
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services
- Knowledge of Terraform usage
- TS/SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 2 months of hire date
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience managing and deploying applications in an air-gapped environment
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and working on Agile teams using collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, or Discourse
- Experience in creating and c ond ucting automated unit and system integration tests to identify and feedback failed modules and components
- Ability to communicate te chn ical ideas and deliver briefings with cross functional teams
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Possession of excellent listening skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Certified AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certification
