ASRC Federal NetCentric Technology is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with an active Secret Security Clearance and strong collaboration skillsto support in support of one of our Department of Defense (DoD) client located in Seaside, California. This position will perform daily onsite troubleshooting and maintenance of all classified network cybersecurity tools and related servers at our customer location in Seaside, California. This will include collaborating with cybersecurity support engineers in performance optimization, RMF compliance and incident response related activities for designated systems and services. Additionally, this position will be required to support 24/7 on-call on a rotational basis to support initial intake and problem analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze system requirements and performance of hardware/software systems and develops/recommends specific measures to increase the overall efficiency of these systems.
- Troubleshoot system performance issues related to hardware/software configuration controls and assess impact integration systems and services within the environment.
- Create and manage capacity and trending reports of systems in operation.
- Perform scans to include analysis of results, identification of false positives, exceptions, and subsequent POA&Ms as needed.
- Perform quarterly DISA STIGs compliance checks on all Windows and RHEL servers and related installed software.
- Submit tickets to appropriate teams for corrective action and reporting.
- Support Incident Response Team activities regarding data lost prevention, unauthorized use, and network exploits/attacks
Required Skills:
- Experience with DoD RMF, DIACAP or NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Knowledge of Incident Response Handling Procedures (NIST SP 800-61)
- Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Ruby and/or JavaScript (Node.js)
- Knowledge of one or more of the following cybersecurity tools:
- Trellix/ESS
- Tanium
- Microsoft Defender Endpoint
- BeyondTrust
- Splunk
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent additional experience).
- U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret Clearance (required) with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or greater, including at least one of the following certifications in good standing: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in information technology with at least 2 years performing cybersecurity or information assurance related activities.
- Required to work onsite daily in a secure DoD classified environment at our office in Seaside, California.
- Obtain DISA ACAS and ESS Training and Certification within 3 months of employment and additional cybersecurity tool training will be required.
- Support 24/7 on-call on a rotational basis to support initial intake and problem analysis activities.
