Associate Director

As Director / Associate Director of Workforce Development within our Workforce Development consulting practice you will lead client engagement and project initiatives aimed at transforming federal client talent systems and practices. You will collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to understand the unique challenges across the enterprise and lead the design and execution of comprehensive, measurable transformation activities. Ideally, you will bring a consultative approach and proven track record of successfully managing comparable complex initiatives, driving upskilling and reskilling projects while delivering high quality deliverables, and fostering collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

Associate Director Responsibilities Include:

Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of talent transformation projects and on-time deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives. Lead planning and project execution plans and to communicate updates on a regular basis.

Manage and mentor a team of workforce development and talent consultants, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Build and maintain strong relationships with federal client stakeholders, understanding needs, and collaborating with team members and Subject Matter Experts (SME) on effective solutions.

Work closely with clients and SMEs to develop and implement a phased strategy and adoption plan, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and objectives.

Develop and implement change management strategies, to include strategic communications, to facilitate smooth transitions and organizational adoption of new processes and technologies.

Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services, meeting or exceeding client expectations and industry standards.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in business, organizational development, or a related field.

Proven experience (7+ years) in leading talent-related initiatives and managing transformation projects in a federal government environment.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Preferred Qualifications:

Project management certification is a plus.

Change management certification is desirable.

Proficiency in leading and managing organizational change initiatives.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.

Ability to develop and implement effective strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Associate Director: Pay is commensurate with experience. 175,000.000-185,000.00

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
