Overview
Intelligent Waves is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Cybersecurity Analyst to support our mission critical work in support of our government customer at Fort Meade, Maryland.
The Cybersecurity Analyst provides team coordination and subject matter expertise across requirements analysis, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) plans and execution, risk assessments, systems analysis and hardening, incident response and policy analysis, trusted product evaluations, IA program assessments, and security posture presentations. Expected to provide analytical support for the development and submission of C&A documentation in compliance with RMF requirements. Ability to apply expertise in technology, analyze the security implications of systems and applications security, and provide recommendations to decision-makers and engineers.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and will be reimbursed based on IW policy, GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as required.
Security Clearance: The Cybersecurity Analyst must be a United States citizen and hold a current DoD Secret security clearance or higher.

- Windows 11, Windows Server, and Active Directory User Management, software updates, and STIGs
- Maintain, deploy, and STIG virtualization technologies
- Able to configure and implement NAS and SAN-based storage with Synology or other storage devices
- Familiar with generating STIG checklists for multiple technologies and automations to support STIG applications via SCAP
- Able to support, deploy, and run scans from the ACAS suite, including Tenable Nessus and SecurityCenter
- Experience working in an airgapped environment on SIPR without Internet access
- Knowledge on the use and implementation of PKI, certificates, and smartcard logins
- Automation and scripting knowledge (bash, PowerShell, Ansible, GPOs, etc.)
- Knowledge of working with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications
- Willing to learn new technologies in a complex, multi-domain, airgapped environment--Includes: f5, Prisma, Postgres, Apache, and other skills that are more Ops-centric where they can at least cover the gap a bit more
- Experience working with eMASS and the RMF process

- Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field plus a minimum of five years of related experience.
- Must have experience working with compliance and regulatory program requirements.
- Must have proven organizational skills, specifically managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills, applied with a solution-focused attitude are required.
- Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to write with purpose, clarity, and accuracy are expected.
- Strong self-directed work habits, exhibiting initiative, drive, creativity, maturity, self-assurance and professionalism are required. Must have excellent teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Linux, ideally Red Hat, and assist with patching and applying STIGs to RHEL servers
