Job Summary:
Software Developer will provide Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems. As a Software Developer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments and provide operations and maintenance for critical systems. The candidate will provide technical support in the design, development, implementation and testing of customer tools and applications. Based in a DevOps framework, participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.

Job Summary:
Software Developer will provide Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems. As a Software Developer on this program, you will have the opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments and provide operations and maintenance for critical systems. The candidate will provide technical support in the design, development, implementation and testing of customer tools and applications. Based in a DevOps framework, participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding and unit testing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods.
- Coordinate closely with team members to ensure alignment and implementation.
- Analyze infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs.
- Support the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices.
- Utilize DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Unix bash scripting for software development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficient with common Agile practices and service-oriented environments.
- Experience in using Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and DevOps toolsets/practices.
- Experience with software testing performance tools such as Junit.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and tempo.
- BS with 4-8 years relevant experience or a Masters with 2-6 years relevant experience. Will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS).
- Well-versed in using version control systems.
- Experience with Spark, ElasticSearch, and testing tools like Katalon/Selenium.
- Familiar with developing in or deploying to AWS
