Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for multiple Systems Engineers at different career levels to join our team in the Alrlington, VA area in support of the office of (Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Emerging Technologies (SIPET)) within OSD DOT&E in identifying OT&E/LFT&E needs, gaps, and potential solutions, assisting in crafting new ways of doing business, and to support Service and agency operational test organizations solve problems.

Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer with MTSI you will support the office of (Strategic Initiatives, Policy, and Emerging Technologies (SIPET)) within O SD DOT&E in identifying OT&E/LFT&E needs, gaps, and potential solutions, assisting in crafting new ways of doing business, and to support Service and agency operational test organizations solve problems. The work location is located primarily in the Arlington, VA area.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• You will apply systems engineering methodologies and tools to enable the successful realization, use, and retirement of engineered systems, using systems principles and concepts, and scientific, technological, and management methods across all engineering disciplines.
• Conduct AoAs to assess design solution alternatives, facilitate cooperation among stakeholders to define technology applications, develop CONOPS and TTPs, integrate engineering activities across the development, conduct engineering studies, develop the Systems Engineering Management Plan, provide analysis to program support reviews such as SRR and SFR, and perform engineering functions in support of experimentation, development, integration, operations, and sustainment across the system lifecycle.
• Apply expertise of key technology areas, including hypersonics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and space/near space systems to inform design of mission-focused testing approaches and tools.

Qualifications

• 1-10+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer:
• • Junior (1-3 years' experience)
  • Journeyman (4-9 years' experience)
  • Senior (10+ years' experience)

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors in relevant field.

Certifications Desired:

• None

Clearance Requirements:

• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
