We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Radar Field Service Representative to support the adaptation and deployment of advanced Israeli radar systems within the U.S. defense market. In this role, you will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of radar systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with U.S. defense requirements. This position involves frequent travel, with a requirement for 30-50% travel, including trips to Israel for system integration and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Israeli radar systems and associated equipment for U.S. defense customers, ensuring full operational readiness.
Conduct on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of radar systems, resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
Perform system upgrades, calibrations, and modifications to ensure that radar systems meet U.S. defense specifications and operational requirements.
Collaborate with Israeli engineers and U.S. defense teams to adapt radar systems for the U.S. market, ensuring seamless integration with existing platforms.
Train U.S. defense personnel on radar system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
Provide technical support and recommendations to improve system performance and reliability.
Maintain accurate service records, including reports on system performance, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Assist in system testing and validation to ensure radar systems comply with U.S. military standards and requirements.
Support the integration of radar systems with other defense technologies and platforms, ensuring interoperability and functionality.
Participate in pre-deployment site surveys and support system acceptance testing with U.S. defense customers.
Develop and provide detailed technical documentation, including installation guides, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in radar technology and defense systems to continuously improve service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Radar Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in field service or maintenance of radar systems, ideally within defense or aerospace sectors.
Extensive hands-on experience with radar systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Strong understanding of U.S. military radar system specifications, including radar signal processing and RF systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment for radar system troubleshooting and repairs.
Experience with complex military systems integration and familiarity with U.S. defense standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support military personnel.
Ability to work independently and manage service-related projects in the field.
Willingness to travel up to 30-50%, including periodic trips to Israel for technical training, collaboration, and system integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Israeli radar systems or previous international field service experience.
Familiarity with radar system software and firmware updates.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in defense systems.
Fluency in Hebrew is a plus but not required.
Experience with cross-cultural teams and international collaboration.
Travel Expectations:
