Inserso is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to provide network engineering support to the Department of Defense (DoD). This critical position is contingent upon contract award.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in operating, troubleshooting, and installing network routers and switches.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and architecting routed and switched networks.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a DoD environment.
• At least one active, nationally recognized certification relevant to network engineering, such as CCNP, JNCIP, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in mathematics and IT, with a focus on networking concepts.
• Proven experience configuring and installing network devices and services.
• Knowledge of current and emerging network design principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience working with network virtualization technologies and multi-tenant network architectures.
• Familiarity with network routing and switching equipment from multiple vendors.
• Experience in scripting and coding for network threshold events.
Physical and/or Mental Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams.
