TMC Technologies is looking for an Engineering Technician with cable building experience to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (Indiana). The Engineering Technician will provide technical support to engineers in areas such as production, disposition, and maintenance. All applicants must possess or be able to obtain a Secret level security clearance.
This work location for this position will be Bedford, IN. This position may require occasional travel within the U.S. The starting salary is $64,000 per year.

5 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; not needed to start (Must be a US Citizen)
IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 certifications strongly preferred
At least 1 year of cable building experience
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Must possess troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Attention to detail, a cooperative attitude, and sound work ethic are essential

Tasking Includes:
- Using hand tools and power tools to assemble according to engineering drawings
- Analyzing and implementing procedures and processes for the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the program.
- Loading and unloading semi-trucks with large equipment and pallets
- Integrating system components and modifying systems
- Equipment installs and basic operational testing
- Building cable assemblies that are 620 compliant from a drawing
- Maintaining inventory of program equipment and materials and reporting status to project team
- Developing work cards and assist with processes for integration and production of tactical systems
Job Requirements
