Cloud Architect
The Opportunity:

As a cloud computing infrastructure architect on our team, you'll use cutting-edge enterprise cloud platforms to support your clients as they modernize their IT infrastructure and meet their most challenging missions. We're looking for someone like you to help modernize Airforce systems.
You'll closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in AWS support, deploy and optimize cloud solution components. You'll have the chance to work within an environment to design, define and develop to further the mission. With access to our internal AWS labs, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' problems, and you'll partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right te chn ical solutions. Whether modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or creating new ones from scratch, you'll have the latest tech and brightest teammates at your fingertips.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, including cloud development, migrations, upgrades, maintenance, and optimization
- Experience with Linux Operating Systems and command-line interfaces
- Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Ansible, or YAML
- Experience with monitoring and optimizing cloud services for cost effectiveness and resource utilization
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD IAT II Certification, including Security+
- AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals Certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline and automation technologies
- Experience securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers
