Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a well-qualified Financial Analyst to perform QA tasks related to ensuring timely payment of invoices through BAE and Government process and development of capabilities to link level of effort (hours & capacity) to Government outcomes and deliverables.

You will be the quality assurance lead to the BAE and Government processes for processing invoices to ensure timely payments by the Government to BAE as well as improving the transparency and granularity of work effort described in invoicing. You will guide, instruct, monitor and assist various functions in creating, improving, and following the BAE and Government process for timely invoice payments. You will work to improve the organization's efficiency and value add by reducing waste and promoting continuous improvement. Specific responsibilities and competencies include, but not limited to:
  • Reviewing contract modifications as requested
  • Balancing ACRN/CLIN combinations between BAE and Gov't systems to ensure funding accuracy within Program.
  • Following billing & invoices through processing from start to finish
  • Interacting with DFAS for process execution and needed corrections
  • Working with Gov't customer to resolve any funding differences
  • Leading investigations into identified problems and opportunities for improvement and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects to help the Gov't understand level of effort (hours & capacity) and invoicing
  • Providing Gov't more fidelity and visibility into capabilities and efforts of people through use of DPMS tools.
  • Completing other tasks as assigned

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS Degree and 7+ yrs of progressive technical experience

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95252 - $161928

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
