As a systems security and network security engineer, you can identify the right tool needed to assess vulnerabilities and recommend the best solution and security strategy. We need your experience to develop and implement security solutions that will protect our military.

On our team, you'll troubleshoot and analyze complex challenges for customers using your knowledge of network and security devices. You'll use your curiosity for te chn ology and market trends to further research, develop security solutions, assess security threats, and implement infrastructure controls.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy , including Assessment and Authorization requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in support of an enterprise hosting environment either on-premises or in the cloud, supporting multiple interconnected systems and enterprise-managed services
  • Experience planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network
  • Ability to assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to ensure appropriate security controls are in place to safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
  • Ability to resp ond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, CS, or Mathematics
  • CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner ( CASP ) , or Certified Information System Security Professional ( CISSP ) Certification


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AWS Solutions such as RDS, EC2, EBS, S3, IAM, Security Hub, or CloudFormation
  • Experience migrating on-premises applications to the Cloud
  • Experience with Windows and RHEL operating systems
  • Experience with DoD or Navy systems, including STIGs and other compliance requirements


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
