Torden is seeking qualified Spanish linguists with an active clearance for interpretation and translation support on US Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay (GTMO).

- Interpretation and translation Proficiency in Spanish to/from English
- Speaking, listening, reading comprehension ILR must meet 3 minimum in Spanish and 3 in English
- Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation
- Must have typing and computer skills
- Must be able to think quickly and work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team
- Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation.
- Ability to follow accurately the essentials of conversations between native speakers
- Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects.
- Due to location of assignment, must meet medical and dental screening requirements as well as immunizations up to date
- All candidates must have an active DOD security clearance, at a minimum SECRET clearance.
- All candidates must have a valid U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening within 12 months or willing to attend a CI screen as required by the contract
