Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking highly skilled individuals that are detail-oriented for a Financial Analyst with government contracting experience. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and love to learn, and is a dynamic team player who is able to meet the demands of a growing business environment.
Candidates should possess experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) within a government contracting context, having directly reported to senior management or C-suite executives. They will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of contract budgets and forecasting models. Strong communication skills are essential for gathering, analyzing, and presenting both high-level and detailed information to various management tiers. Additionally, candidates must have a solid understanding of project billing, revenue analysis, and the monthly tracking of Full-Time Employees (FTE) to effectively perform their duties.
Unanet is a plus but not required for candidates with strong financial analytic capability.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze and report, project and contractor's progress, costs and schedules for all corporate contracts.
- Establish and maintain project records in Unanet.
- Review contractors change order requests, monitor contractor progress, review & process change orders.
- Provide cost and schedule analysis to budget and forecast.
- Following up with internal customers when required.
- Timely investigation and resolution for internal customers' inquiry.
- Ensure appropriate internal reviews, decisions are made per process requirements and provide reporting to executives and business units as needed.
- Administer change management processes through identification of potential projects' risks and trends.
- Provide support for kick-off and close-out contracts.
- Provide insights and present data to muti-level managers.
- Special projects assigned by manager.
- Minimum of an associate's degree in accounting or finance (bachelor's degree is preferred)
- 1-3 years of experience in government contracting environment.
- Advance knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and communicate with various levels of management.
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must have analytical skills including but are not limited to research, ability to interpret data, ability to analyze information.
- Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce at a high level of accuracy and can meet deadlines
- Ability to efficiently learn and utilize new software applications.
- Availability to work extra hours when the need arises.
- Must possess integrity, be able to maintain confidentiality, and exercise extreme discretion.
- Be able to handle miscellaneous projects as business needs as required.
- Unanet knowledge is preferred.
