The Locksmith as a full-time, on-site position responsible for the for maintenance, repair and minor construction for facility components and lock systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair, open, and change locks on doors and other structures, as needed.
  • Duplicate keys, re-key locks, and service electronic access equipment and devices using special tools and equipment, as needed.
  • Maintain a thorough record of changes and additions to the facility's Key System.
  • Maintain and repair automated door openers and hold opens for ADA access points.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess a HS Diploma or GED.
  • Must successfully complete a background check to include criminal and credit and obtain a government Top Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test.
  • Possess or able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • Must have a working knowledge of various power saws and basic woodworking principles.
  • Possess 3 - 5 years of experience performing locksmith duties.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a forklift license.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Possess a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • 0-2 years of woodworking experience.
  • Possess a current forklift license.
