About The Role
Peraton requires a Technical Project Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Position is located in National Capitol Region, District of Columbia.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
Oversees operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, contractor staff, and other stakeholders.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Managing a team of approximately 20 IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- A liaison for issues between government customers and contractor staff.
- Oversee and manage personnel across multiple locations within the National Capital Region, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and operational efficiency.
- Oversees day-to-day operations, manages team schedules, assigns tasks, and ensures coverage during core/non-core business hours at four different locations.
- Fosters strong relationships and directly supports various government customers.
- Manages and delegates changing priorities driven by the customer.
- Ensure that IT services meet or exceed agreed-upon SLA standards, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational performance.
- Identifies areas for improvement within the IT operations and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establishing and enforcing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver high-quality technical assistance to both customers and internal users, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding new employees.
- Ensure smooth transitions and access to necessary resources for new hires and departing employees.
- Oversee and optimize the support ticket process to ensure timely and efficient resolution of IT issues.
- Oversees resolving incident tickets, providing high-quality support to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze ticket trends and implement strategies to reduce recurring issues and improve overall IT support.
- Configure and distribute hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals, etc.) to employees.
- Oversees an inventory of IT assets and ensures proper tracking and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within IT operations and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed.
- Maintaining detailed standards operating procedures for applicable processes.
- Manage Peraton leased vehicle maintenance and fuels level to include maintaining the monthly fuel log and credit card expense reconciliation.
- Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Min 10 years experience with BS/BA OR AS/AA degree OR 12 years with HS degree
- TS/SCI clearance is required
- PMI Project Management Professional highly desired
