ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO. The position is part of a team that provides systems engineering, software development, configuration management and application testing support for a Weapons and Space software development effort.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyzing user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyzing system requirements and leads design and development activities
- Guiding users in formulating requirements, advising alternative approaches, and conducting feasibility studies
- Providing technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations
- Coordinating the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews
- Developing system architecture and system design documentation
- Guiding system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
- Interacting with the Customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
- Communicating with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives while participating in an integrated Product Team to design new capabilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 20 years of experience or 25 years of total experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with software development environment
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
