Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description
Applying the Separation Clearance SOP and Policy to conduct the separation process under the e-separation automated self-service function, directing employees to an informational portal that will alleviate questions pertaining to clearance offices.

Separation duties include:

*Create and trace separation cases in the SharePoint system to notify separation clearing offices

*Assist in separating employees with e-separations system related issues and act as a proxy to create e-separation cases when employees and supervisors are unable to do so.

*Direct employees to the e-separation portal to find applicable information related to employee separation processes and policy

*Answer general inquiries and direct nonrelated inquiries to appropriate separation clearing offices

*Answer a variety of questions related to the separation process

*Prepare and distribute benefits separation packages (i.e., separation documents, certified benefit election forms, and general correspondence)

*Review benefits and payroll documents against transactions in the NFC database to ensure coverage is documented and completed per information in the database

*Prepare, review and report trends/issues related to the Separations Biweekly Report. *Receive and distribute medical certification forms for completion by employees and answer general inquiries on applicable leave options and advise on completion of final time and attendance in the separation process. Other duties will include supporting the Office of Workers Compensation Program.

Duties include:

*Prepare responses to inquiries and correspondence

*Review Position description and return to work/job offers to ensure applicable language is included and correct

*Research and review reports, discovery documents and other case filings

*Collect and track data and statistical information.

*Assist in quality improvement process plans.

Must have basic knowledge of applying benefits entitlements and flexibility.

*Proficient in the use of NFC (or similar system), HR Connect

*Expert usage of the EOPF system
