Lead .NET Software/System Architect
Location: Austin, TX
Description:
Seeking a highly experienced .NET Software / Systems Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust .NET software solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange and integration within our organization and with our partners. This role requires a deep understanding of .NET technologies, software architecture principles, and best practices, as well as strong technical and analytical skills to ensure the efficient integration of business processes.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement scalable, robust .NET architectures that support business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate .NET systems with various enterprise applications, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Lead the development of .NET solutions, utilizing tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Octopus for deployment management, GitHub and Nexus for configuration management, and Terraform and Ansible Tower for infrastructure automation.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to .Net development teams, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of software processes, system configurations, and integration workflows.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in .NET technologies and frameworks, including ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Core.
• Relevant certifications in .Net or related technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for managing project execution, such as SCRUM or DevSecOps.
• Experience ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards, including Section 508 accessibility and VA security requirements.
• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and regular progress reports.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
Education and Experience:
•Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15 years of experience in software architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in .NET architecture, development, and integration
