JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide SME support to agile development through iterative methodologies
Translate user research into UI requirements and workflows
Create wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
Rapidly iterate on design prototypes for AI/ML tools and delivery methods
Develop quick-implementation mock-up solutions
Test usability, track metrics, and analyze user activity to improve UX
Apply user-based design principles to AI solution development
Identify mission goals, data standards, and workflows with end users
Analyze user stories to define system, software, and interface requirements
Identify AI opportunities to enhance end-user processes
Gather and incorporate user feedback through interviews, testing, and surveys
Design and prototype AI/ML solutions based on user needs and behavior
Collaborate with Mission and Capability Delivery teams to define product goals
Work with teams on user research, customer testing, and iterative feedback
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience with usability testing, including preparing test plans and associated wireframes, facilitating test sessions, analyzing data, and reporting and presenting results
-7-10 years with BA/BS
-5 years with MA/MS
Experience with creating and documenting information design concepts and solutions by various means, including wireframes, prototypes, and task flow diagrams
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and demonstrate experience and capability to make presentations to and interact with end-users
Must have prior experience conducting user interviews, and contextual inquiries
Experience with user tracking and metrics tooling such as Matomo
Experience with visualization of user metrics using Qlik and/or Tableau
Experience Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI systems or software architecture
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Advana
CUA or UX-related certification
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree (or Master's degree plus 5 years of required experience)
Active TS Clearance/SCI eligibility
Ability to commute to Falls Church 2-3 days per week
