Responsibilities
As a Program Analyst/Technical Writer with MTSI you will be responsible for providing support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Prototypes & Experiments (DASD(P&E)) located in National Capital Region. The organization's mission is to identify, develop, and demonstrate forward looking concepts encompassing multi-domain technologies to satisfy Multi-Service and Combatant Commands priorities for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities
As a Program Analyst/Technical Writer with MTSI you will be responsible for providing support to the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Prototypes & Experiments (DASD(P&E)) located in National Capital Region. The organization's mission is to identify, develop, and demonstrate forward looking concepts encompassing multi-domain technologies to satisfy Multi-Service and Combatant Commands priorities for the Department of Defense.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Your primary function will be to support all aspects of development for emerging technologies to include the development of Security Classification Guides and Integrated Assessment Plans for Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) and Defense Innovation Acceleration projects. The Integrated Assessment Plans must capture the objectives, data collection requirements, test plans, test data, test results, and conclusions to produce and summarize the products / documents that clarify the prototype's features, benefits, and limitations. The SCG will specifically cover RDER projects (and enabling DIA, RPP, and FCT projects supporting RDER) that do not have a Service transition partner and/or do not have an associated SCG held by a sponsoring organization which derivative classification can be made aka "SCG Orphan Projects."
- Ensure that all necessary information has been included allowing readers to quickly understand the purpose, performance, and utility of the capability under review.
Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience as a program analyst experience.
- Experience with classified programs.
- Provide substantive input to the workflow and management for the office's products.
- Establish optimal workflow processes to ensure all requirements are met.
- Establish standards for written and visual presentations.
- Manage daily operations, initiatives, and multiple products simultaneously.
- Coordinate and integrate executive-level technical products and activities.
- Provide organizational, technical, operational, and managerial advice.
- Research and gather information.
- Prepare briefings and reports.
- Must have technical familiarity with System Requirements, Key Performance Parameters (KPPs), Measures of Performance (MOPs), Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs), and minimum acceptable/desired system capabilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise, well-informed written products.
- Experience writing for an OSD audience.
- Military or OSD experience
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Clearance Requirements:
- Current TS/SCI eligibility.

- The position is located in the National Capital Region.
