Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Mine Blast Mechanical Engineer
Key Role:

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in c ond ucting and coordinating research, design, development, and engineering activities supporting the DoD or wheeled or tracked vehicles
- Knowledge of c ond ucting specific research and trade off analysis, executing market surveys, and investigating te chn ology transfer or insertion opportunities
- Ability to develop requirements and specifications, monitor contract and testing activities, c ond uct failure and cost reduction analysis, production engineering, configuration management, and te chn ical field support
- Ability to prepare and review test plans, observe tests and analyze test results to determine adequacy of system and subsystem performance, and recommend corrective action to eliminate deficiencies
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with reviewing and evaluating te chn ical information to ensure the latest engineering and scientific knowledge is applied to the projects or programs involved
- Experience with mine blast testing on wheeled or tracked vehicles
- Ability to perform and evaluate engineering studies
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
