JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced JCAP Cyber Operations Planner to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of cyber infrastructure operations within the Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP). The ideal candidate will provide expert support in facilitating the delivery, installation, operation, and maintenance of cyber systems, networks, and equipment. This role involves close collaboration with the Field Support Representatives (FSR), technical support teams (Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3), and cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of cyber services.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating the delivery, installation, and maintenance of JCAP cyber infrastructure and associated systems.
• Provide expert advice and support to the Field Support Representatives (FSR), Tier 1 Help Desk, and Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support teams as required.
• Serve as the local representative for all coordination efforts during Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) and ensure effective communication during software deployment processes.
• Collaborate with the JCAP Government Project Management Office to advocate for the needs of local organizations, ensuring these needs are understood and clearly communicated.
• Attend relevant meetings and provide administrative support to the project team, enabling technical experts to focus on higher-level technical issues and challenges.
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure that all planning, coordination, and operational activities are accurately recorded.
• Ensure alignment of JCAP cyber operations with overall program goals, ensuring smooth integration of services and timely resolution of operational issues.
WHAT REQUIRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
• 5+ years of experience in cyber operations planning, coordination, or management.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar platforms) to track project milestones and deliverables.
• Knowledge of Joint Common Access Platform (JCAP) systems and processes.
• Experience in the development and execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
• Experience working with government project management teams and understanding of their operational and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with cyber infrastructure, network operations, and Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) protocols.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, technical support staff, and government project managers.
WHAT PREFERRED SKILLS YOU'LL BRING
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or relevant cyber operations certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration into cyber operations planning.
• Previous experience coordinating Authorized Service Interruptions (ASI) and managing service downtime procedures.
MINIMUM CLEARANCE REQUIRED
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly
COMPENSATION
• Salary Range: $185,000 + (depending on experience and education)
• Time Off: 24 Days PTO and 13 Federal holidays
• 401K: up to 10% 401(k) contribution
• Up to $5,000 continuing education reimbursement
