Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development with experience in Government Health Services, specifically with the VA or HHS, to promote and grow trusted relationships with our client's target customers. The perfect candidate will be able to show a history of being outcome driven and a focus on high quality results. 75% of this work will be remote with the other 25% spent executing travel associated with targeting the appropriate customers. There is a preference for this candidate to be located in the DC metro area for accessibility to BD related events.

Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and recommending customer-specific account strategies and goals with a focus on agencies within VA, OIT, HHS.
- Creating strategic and tactical plans to support client engagement and drive growth
- Serving as a subject matter expert in the field, identifying and engaging with key influencers and decision-makers at all levels of the customer organization. Building and maintaining strong relationships with mid and senior-level leaders
- Acting as a customer advocate by identifying mission needs and representing the customer's perspective
- Supporting overall strategic planning and aligning pursuits/capture activities with the business development metrics for awards, submissions, and pipeline
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelors Degree in Business field or related
- 10+ years of experience in Federal Government Business Development - emphasis on Health agencies
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Poised, exceptional executive presence and highly articulate.
- Proven ability to positively influence change at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to obtain US Public Trust
Compensation Includes:
- Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 **depending on experience**
- Full Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave as required by Law
