Description
Team SAIC is currently seeking an experienced Microsoft EndPoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator to be responsible for the development, standardization, management, and security of the environment.
This includes deploying security updates/configurations, supporting Windows desktop and server images, and day to day support for the enterprise. Third party and custom application support is also necessary. This position is based out of the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM core hours with occasional after-hours onsite work to support a NIPR and SIPR environment.

Position Overview:
- Accountable for server and workstation patching, imaging, application development, and, as required, architect and design using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
- Leverage MECM to provide security updates, cumulative rollups, hotfixes, and other updates as necessary to workstations and servers.
- Maintain existing packages and add new packages as required in support of a vast customer base.
- Provide application/Windows OS installation/configuration/patching as well as data reporting (application install status, client health, etc.) leveraging MECM.
- Create and administer advertisements, programs, collections, and custom reports utilizing SCCM and or Tanium.
- Troubleshoot failed MECM deployments and health issues.
- Leverage Group Policy and Active Directory to modify installation package behavior, restrict features, and improve security.
- Utilize and configure applications via AppV virtualization technology.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior systems administrators and other IT staff.
- Improve efficiencies by documenting and standardizing support processes while capturing and developing best practices.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to company management and internal customers.
- Maintain and update Server STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) requirements to comply with DISA standards.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Possess DoD 8570.01-M/DoD 8140 Certification IAW established mandate prior to start of work - IAT Level II required (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP); IAT Level III is desirable (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH). Applicants not meeting this requirement will not be considered.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience and nine or more years of experience.
- Top Secret Clearance.
