Introduction:
The Sponsor serves as the focal point for coordinating, planning, developing, supporting, and executing cyber research and tasking. The Sponsor requires an Applications Developer to perform Agile-based Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for a Tasking Portal housed in a Cloud environment. This tasking portal enables end users to input requests and specific data for data collection.
Work Requirements:
The Contractor shall:
• Perform day-to-day tasks such as bug fixes and enhancement releases.
• Gather and assist in the preparation of requirements based on customer needs.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into both user stories and development tasks.
• Prepare documentation such as program, user, and security documentation.
• Develop and maintain software applications, including web applications and user interfaces.
• Develop in a cloud environment.
• Enhance software to improve efficiency.
Required Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience with Agile methodology from inception through integration and deployment.
2. Demonstrated experience with supporting production systems and assisting customers with timely issue resolution.
3. Demonstrated experience with gathering and identifying technical requirements.
4. Demonstrated experience with Cloud infrastructure like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or equivalent.
5. Demonstrated experience developing JavaScript web services using Node.js, including ExpressJS applications and Micro Services.
6. Demonstrated experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, Spring Model View Controller (MVC), and Spring Boot.
7. Demonstrated experience with Web Application Programming, including developing JavaScript, HTML, or CSS web user interfaces.
8. Demonstrated experience with web UI frameworks such as React or Extended JavaScript (ExtJS).
9. Demonstrated experience developing Java-based APIs.
10. Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure.
11. Demonstrated experience with Back-End API, integrating, operating, or deploying MySQL.
12. Demonstrated experience with Front-End UI/UX JavaScript UI framework(s) such as Angular, React, or Vue.
Desired Skills:
1. Demonstrated experience with establishing data, performance, and communications objectives for prototype systems.
2. Demonstrated experience understanding the Sponsor’s Cloud environment.
3. Demonstrated experience understanding the Sponsor’s data architecture.
4. Demonstrated experience understanding the Sponsor’s application environment.
5. Demonstrated experience with Back-End SecDevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
6. Demonstrated experience with Back-End Container technologies such as Docker.
7. Demonstrated experience with Front-End UX design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material Design.
