Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Electrical Engineer
Key Role:

Employs knowledge of electrical theory and materials properties. Applies advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with electrical design, development, analysis, or evaluation of military weapons or commercial electronics systems
- Experience with signal processing algorithms
- Experience with electrical, electronic, or instrumentation engineering, including operations, labs, or design
- Experience reviewing design documentation and identifying deficiencies, inaccuracies, and noncompliance issues with the design intent
- Experience with software tools for algorithm validation and system integration
- Knowledge of data collection and analysis, system architecture, and design methodologies
- Knowledge of software and coding including programming languages, such as Python, C/C++, and MATLAB
- Ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative environments to evaluate systems against technical requirements and identify concerns and issues
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with AMAC systems and Model-Based Systems Engineering
- Experience with requirement traceability
- Experience with logic devices and embedded systems or programming software
- Experience with MIL-STD-464 and MIL-STD-461
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
- Ability to communicate advanced electrical engineering concepts clearly to non-technical individuals
- Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Top Secret Clearance
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering License, EIT or FE Certification
