Configuration Manager

Key Role:

Manage the requirements for planning, organizing, and implementing enterprise-wide te chn ology infrastructure and configuration management functions. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive te chn ical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience executing CM and change control processes for DoD programs
  • Experience using CM tools such as CMPro, for complex projects
  • Experience analyzing complex information to inform CM system modifications and processes while collaborating with complex teams to efficiently extract and identify engineering changes
  • Experience using common MBSE tools, providing configuration documentation and troubleshooting issues with the configuration management process for model management
  • Experience with the system engineering life cycle, including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment for major DoD weapon systems
  • Knowledge of Weapon Open System Architecture ( WOSA ) design principles and te chn ologies, DoD architecture standards and framework, and Agile systems engineering methods and tools
  • Ability to develop SOPs and training to facilitate CM processes
  • Ability to lead and facilitate Configuration Control Board ( CCB ) meetings and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary, dynamic team environment, including with internal staff, external contractors, and government clients
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience developing system and subsystem baseline artifacts for complex projects
  • Knowledge of te chn ical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex ICBM weapon systems
  • Knowledge of using systems models during government engineering reviews
  • Knowledge of systems engineering disciplines, including configuration management, risk management, cybersecurity, and cyber certification processes
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management
  • Possession of excellent te chn ical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • CM, ASEP, OCSMP Fundamental, Agile or SAFe, or INCOSE CSEP Certification


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
