Must Haves:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience. Ability to accurately maintain records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment with Engineers and Technicians.
• Able to also work independently at times
• Self-motivated/must take initiative
• High School Diploma
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and practices
• An understanding of electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies

Nice to Haves:

• Experience maintaining records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures
• IPC-A-610 Certification
• Hexagon CMM certification (PC-DMIS software)
• Keyence Vision system programming experience
• Optical lens inspection experience

Job Description:

• In-Process and Final inspections of Thermal, Night Vision, Fused, Laser Aiming and Range Finding systems.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for in-process and final inspection of products
• Perform visual inspections of electrical components and assemblies using magnifiers, microscopes, and other non-complex tools
• Able to follow and comply with documents such as work instructions, safety rules and departmental instructions
• Review of documentation (route sheets, test sheets, and logbooks, etc.)
• Performs accurate data and record keeping
• Communicate findings through NCMR process for immediate action
• Support Lean manufacturing efforts through continuous process improvement
• Perform basic computer activities
• Perform internal Calibration, Chemical, Work Instruction and Process audits

Non-Essential Functions:

• Participate in meetings and working groups to solve problems, communicate issues, obtain approvals, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new requirements or policies
• All other duties as assigned
