The Opportunity:
NexTech Solutions, LLC(NTS) is seeking an experienced Robotics Capability Lead to support Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems, Remote Capabilities Program (PM-RC), APM Small Unmanned System-AIR (sUMS-AIR) Program. The successful Capability Lead will understand and focus on warfighter requirements to provide senior-level engineering leadership resulting in test process innovation and execution, technical requirements management, and mission support. This position requires exemplary verbal and written communication skill and project management expertise. The successful Capability Lead must be able to work independently and as a team leader with attention to detail and task follow-through. This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance, and there is occasional travel time. This position is located on-site in Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Description and Duties:
- Assists in management of United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).
- Unmanned Ground Systems (sUGS), small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS), Counter UAS (cUAS) and Unmanned Maritime Systems (sUMS).
- Develops briefs, prepare correspondence, and participates in small teams accomplishing DOTMLPF- P integration.
- Manages a capability area and a portfolio of a family of systems and initiatives to produce capabilities for the Army Special Operations Forces Operator and organizations.
- Leads as a sUGS Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Integrated Product Teams (IPT) concerning all Federal Acquisition Regulations, Dept of Army, and USSOCOM acquisition policies and regulations.
- Assists with Program Objective Memorandum strategy to support procurement of sUGS platforms to support the ARSOF enterprise.
- Cross-functional team leader managing communication and initiatives of major internal/external stakeholders across the Army, USSOCOM, and other government.
- Reviews requirements documents to ensure ARSOF equities are represented.
- Participates in SOCOM Small Unmanned Systems Working group Bi-Annual.
- Leads modernization efforts at USASOC filling unique and critical sUGS position within the Army Special Operations Robotics Directorate (A-SORD).
- Key member in the integration of sUGS into the robotics ecosystem, collaborative autonomy and connected
- Assists A-SORD with all robotics initiatives, integration, and requirements as needed.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of Special Operations Command experience in various roles
- 2+ years of Capability Development or comparable experience
- 2+ years of robotic system testing (implementation/communication focus)

Bachelor's in engineering/robotics/communication or combination experience and education/certificates.
