Exploitation Specialist Data Steward Senior-Level Responsibilities:

Execute day-to-day management of all geospatial content, including SOM, CV, and mission specific content. Will address data gaps, concerns, QA/QC, and ensure alignment to Analysis and LOB standards are physically implemented.

Senior-Level:

Leading, integrating, defining tasks, validating. These positions demonstrate advanced application of their knowledge and skills in their fields and have demonstrated this knowledge and skill in previous work. A senior should be fully capable of meeting all services required without direction. Seniors will be capable of providing direction to lower level employees and of performing quality control and quality assurance checks on other employees' work. Seniors may provide oversight of fellow Contractor employees from their own company. Seniors are expected to provide advice to Government leadership on processes, procedures, technology, and items of interest. Seniors are also expected to lead collaboration across NGA and IC analysts in the performance of services. Such collaboration efforts should lead to better synergized analysis than the sum of the individual parts. Seniors should provide senior level support to NGA office level leadership. NGA typically requires some FTEs to be at the senior level.

Primary skill requirements:
  • Manage the generation, approval, and population of data within the NGA's and the AP LOB's geospatial databases, ensuring that they can be used to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular Quality Control (QC) and monitor the content to ensure it aligns to existing data standards and specification.
  • Identify non-compliant datasets to include data concepts and values as implemented.
  • Document data concepts and values not included in NGA data vocabularies.
  • Generate and manage data dictionaries for AP LOB data holdings.
  • Work to identify new data concept development to support mission needs and production requirements.
  • Assess and report the current state of compliance for AP LOB's data holdings in both written and oral forms.
  • Publish geospatial content in the form of data service from a GIS system.
  • Populate, manage, and maintain metadata standards for AP L datasets.


Education and Experience:

Desired
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Min 10 combined experience


Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
