The Swift Group is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (Windows Engineer) with a minimum of 16 years of experience and significant expertise with Trellix Security or similar products. The ideal candidate will proactively manage equipment lifecycles, efficiently deploy software and policies using MECM, and provide valuable data for troubleshooting computer issues. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity operations, systems engineering, and enterprise networks.
This position is located in the Herndon, VA area.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to:
- Proactively manage equipment lifecycles.
- Deploy software and policies consistently across the enterprise.
- Provide data insights for troubleshooting and system optimization.
- Provide strong engineering support and demonstrate technical proficiency in:
- Cybersecurity operations and engineering.
- Windows and Linux systems administration.
- Active Directory management and optimization.
- Trellix products, including:
- Endpoint Security (ENS)
- ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
- Threat Intelligence Exchange (TIE)
- Data Exchange Layer (DXL)
- Working with databases, virtualization, and cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
- Understanding enterprise network infrastructure and architecture.
- Develop and maintain expertise with Trellix Security products, including system configuration and policy development.
- Familiarity with cyber threat identification, management, mitigation, and response strategies.
- Provide strong engineering support and demonstrate technical proficiency in:

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in Windows engineering, cybersecurity, and systems engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Proven expertise with MECM, Active Directory, and Trellix Security Suite.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and enterprise network operations.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, including log reviews and triage analysis.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
- Writing technical documentation and briefings.
- Leading and participating in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs).
- Collaborating with end users and inter-agency/intra-agency stakeholders.
- Certification and accreditation, access and authorization processes.
- Deployment planning and execution for security solutions.
- System configuration, tuning, and policy development.
- Monitoring and managing system health, status, and availability.
- Reporting on technical and operational issues and providing recommendations.
- Analyzing data and recommending solutions to operational/technical problems.
- Participating in technical troubleshooting efforts and issue resolution.
- Reviewing product documentation and working with vendor support teams.
