Position Requirements:
Target Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
Target Experience:
- This individual should have ten (10) years of experience as a Technical Editor to include management, budgeting, scheduling, planning, estimating, customer support, and product delivery.
- Experience with developing, modifying, and reviewing Naval shipboard technical documentation and U.S. Navy Technical Manuals. Experience with Model Based Product Support (MBPS) and Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML).
- The experience should include writing, editing, and reviewing technical materials in support of maintenance, repair, testing, product improvement, and/or alteration of Naval Ship HM&E and Electronic/Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment. The experience may include supervising the work of other technical writers.
