What You'll Do to Make a Difference:

As an Integrated Master Scheduler, you'll be a key player in the Implementation Management Team, ensuring the smooth and successful execution of complex programs. You'll work closely with technical leads, project managers, and stakeholders to define essential tasks, identify milestones, and manage interdependencies across multiple projects.

Your role will be vital in developing and maintaining a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), producing milestone charts, and delivering reports that help drive decision-making. You'll monitor project timelines, identify potential risks, and tackle challenges head-on, ensuring projects stay on track, within scope, and meet the highest standards of quality.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Build and manage detailed, resource-loaded IMS for the program, aligning multiple project schedules into a unified plan.
  • Create Gantt charts, milestone reports, and other program management tools to track critical paths, prioritize resources, and analyze performance variances.
  • Provide regular status updates and program reports, based on actual and forecasted schedules, and manage schedule change control.
  • Lead weekly IMS reviews, facilitating discussions around timelines, risks, and corrective actions with the program team.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify issues, working with the team to develop solutions that align with productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Perform schedule estimating and updates for new and ongoing work, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth execution and accurate reporting of projects.
  • Analyze trends, identify potential issues, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling issues, maintain version control, and ensure schedule integrity.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of schedule changes and project performance.
  • Adapt and work outside normal business hours when necessary to meet deadlines and project requirements.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in creating and managing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Expertise in overseeing multiple projects and consolidating schedules into a master plan.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Skilled at maintaining complex schedules and providing accurate updates.
  • Ability to present and brief schedule-related information to all levels of management.

Desired Skills:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with MS Project Server (highly desirable, but not required).

Location: On Customer Site (Springfield, VA)

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $145-155k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
