Configuration Management (Cm) Specialist (Basic)

Horizon Industries Limited (Horizon) is a dynamic IT and Management Consulting firm based in the Washington, DC area and we are currently seeking a Configuration Management Specialist for a full-time position remotely supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).

Required Experience:

• Five (5) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
• Establishes and/or maintains a system to record modifications to hardware, software, or documentation.
• Maintains allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and the ability to perform audit support.
• Assists with the review of engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements.
• Maintains configuration control records and technical documents.
• Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline.
• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Preferred Experience:

• COTS application support, including local server administration and maintenance.
• Experience addressing STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) and vulnerability management to support system hardening and compliance.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, including capturing artifacts to meet compliance controls.
• Ability to obtain and use an M-Token to access underlying application servers for administration, patching, and compliance activities.
• Bonus: Experience with Archer IRM or similar governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms.

Position Sensitivity :

• Non-Critical Sensitive (Formerly IT-II or IT-2)
• Investigation Requirements: Must possess a favorable Tier 3 (T3) NACLC/ANACI at time of proposal submission.

Location: Remote

Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000.
