Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a Logistics Analyst, Technical at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information.
- Manages the performance of logistics functions including life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. rack product shipments life cycle via outside shipment contractors (FEDEX, USPS)
- Maintain a detailed shipment life cycle tracker database
- Be able to appropriately interact directly with active duty Fleet and high-ranking personnel
- Perform status accounting thru configuration management software tools
- Perform database entry and management
- Prepare transmittals to support Secret and below shipments to customers
- Prepare naval messages to support Defense Courier Service deliveries
- Prepare software kit checklists to support software updates, as necessary; deliver for review and final; maintain checklist pdf up to date as shipments are sent; ensure copies are made for external sources
- Support meetings to glean information concerning software kit delivery plans
- Review technical documents (SPALTs, SSP Instructions) and provide comments
Qualifications:
Required:
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline; or eight (8) years of demonstrated subject matter expertise in the discipline of logistics functions and applications, including the qualifications below; or US Naval operational experience at the E7 level or higher.
- In addition, ten (10) years professional or operational experience in developing logistics support requirements and applicable documentation for a DOD major weapon systems program that employs the use of Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
