Capacity Planner
Key Role:
Engages in capacity planning and management, analyzing the external talent market, forecasting hiring needs based on upcoming program work, and tracking internal talent pipeline and billability metrics. Conducts research on emerging market talent needs, current and future talent demand, and existing available talent to develop a holistic understanding of talent trends and needs. Gathers and analyzes data from various sources to support market talent recommendations and strategic decision-making. Supports capacity planning for available staff and existing talent in specific market area, geography, or functional areas through the provision of a holistic view of talent needs and existing resources. Acts as a liaison between Talent Acquisition and the market to provide oversight for all open requisitions and opportunities within the market space and partners with the Bench Manager to track available staff capacity across the market, including capability hires as well as the available talent pipeline.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in talent capacity management or staffing strategies
- Experience with talent analytical tools, dashboards, and techniques
- Experience researching, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to support talent and staffing plans and make recommendations to senior leaders
- Experience using data insights and analytics to comprehend trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organization
- Knowledge of Workday and HR technology
- Knowledge of talent acquisition resources and procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build relationships with COE partners and the business sectors to improve delivery and lead and facilitate discussions with senior leaders
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in staff capacity planning or capacity management
- Experience in talent acquisition and delivery
- Experience in bench management and staffing strategies
- Experience in program management
- Ability to conduct research on emerging market talent needs, current and future demand, and existing available talent to develop a holistic understanding of talent trends and needs
