Server and System Administration Support
EPS Corporation is seeking a Server and System Administration Support specialist to perform installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of servers and desktop systems for AFCENT networks at Shaw Air Force Base. The candidate will ensure compliance with security policies and support core services, including Microsoft Exchange, file shares, DNS, DHCP, and network security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer core and functional services for AFCENT networks, including server and desktop system support.
  • Maintain Windows, UNIX, and Linux OS, including VMware and NUTANIX virtual environments.
  • Create and manage users and groups within Active Directory.
  • Manage print services and ensure security compliance for printer servers.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on servers, network equipment, and desktop systems.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and implement network protection measures.
  • Conduct system backups, restorations, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Analyze and resolve hardware, OS, and software issues; recommend application upgrades.
  • Support AFCENT network monitoring and analysis tools.
  • Assist in account management and security policy enforcement.
  • Maintain system administration documentation, continuity plans, and training materials.
  • Monitor server logs, troubleshoot errors, and perform configuration management.
  • Provide on-call support for emergency outages in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Interface with higher authorities for user and admin account approvals.
  • Develop and submit a Server and System Administration Monthly Status Report.


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship & Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility Required
  • Security+ CE or higher
    VCP or equivalent experience
    3 years of experience in System Administration

    • Experience with Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware, and NUTANIX environments
    • Strong knowledge of server administration, security compliance, and network operations
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, and software issues
    • Experience with Active Directory, patch management, and cybersecurity best practices
