This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Office Supplies inbox in ServiceNow daily and respond/act on requests within 1 business day of receipt.
  • Receive, pack, process and manage incoming/outgoing official mail in accordance with written procedures.
  • Receive, process, pack and manage incoming/outgoing FedEx and UPS parcels/flats in accordance with written procedures.
  • Review FedEx requests, for completeness and accuracy and process complete and accurate shipments 95% of the time.
  • Pick-up and deliver courier service requirements for DCSA at the Pentagon and other locations in the NCR.
  • Receive, process, and manage incoming supply and service requests.
  • Manage supply issue point ensuring adequate on-hand inventory.
  • As required, create shopping cart in GSA Global Supply and other platforms, and forward to Government POC to initiate the purchase.
  • Deliver paper as needed.
  • Other activities as directed by the Task Manager within the scope of this contract.
  • Responsibilities also include providing Fleet Management as needed to include:
    • Look in vehicle reservation system and assign vehicles to users while also advising if vehicles are not available.
    • Send dispatch forms to the vehicle user.
    • Manage the vehicle logs/binders and prepare them for the next business day.
    • Retrieve vehicle logs/binders from the drop box.
    • Be onsite to distribute vehicle logs/binders to the vehicle user.
    • Take vehicles to auto dealerships for required quarterly maintenance/service.
    • Address any "10 level' maintenance issues with GOV fleet (i.e.: inflate tires, replace missing emergency kts, etc.).

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma.
  • Holds a SECRET clearance.
  • Valid and current driver's license.
  • 5 years experience in supply or logistics tasks.
  • 2 years experience exercising mailroom management tasks.
