Summary:
SYSTOLIC is seeking talented junior/early career software engineers to fill an immediate need to support a software engineering team. This group of high-performing developers and engineers is shaping the modernization of geolocation products supporting the warfighter. You'll be exposed to multiple discipline areas such as UI, front-end, back-end and/or full-stack development, and algorithm development. This team is creating a next generation product, incorporating and improving legacy capabilities, and working directly with the user base to improve the user experience and ensure new features and capabilities exceed expectations.

Qualifications and Compensation:
● Candidates with 0+ years of experience will earn approximately $173,000 per year.
● Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar degree from an accredited university.
● Candidates may substitute 4 additional years of experience in place of a degree.

Required Skills:
• Ideally 3 years of development work experience
• Experience with Java development
• Experience with JMS
• Database experience such as Mongo or MySQL
• Experience developing scalable solutions, applicable to both large- and small-scale platforms
• Experience working on teams of software developers and integrators

Description:

• SW development of new or enhancement of existing capabilities predominately using Java
• Java development for new or existing applications
• Provide Tier III Support for deployed capabilities and address bug fixes
• Test and debug software code for network connected systems
• Perform integration and testing as needed
• Collaborate with a team of Software and Systems engineers in an Agile environment to analyze requirements, derive user stories, track issues, and create user documentation
• Provide status and update tickets
