Peraton is seeking a Program Manager to lead DHS Desktop Support Services (DSS) 3.0, ensuring seamless IT operations for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This is more than a management role-it's an opportunity to drive innovation, enhance cybersecurity, and optimize IT infrastructure from workstations to data centers, the cloud, and mission applications.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Program Manager to lead DHS Desktop Support Services (DSS) 3.0, ensuring seamless IT operations for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This is more than a management role-it's an opportunity to drive innovation, enhance cybersecurity, and optimize IT infrastructure from workstations to data centers, the cloud, and mission applications.
The Program Manager is responsible for the following activities:
- Direct and organize multiple interrelated tasks, managing both classified and unclassified environments.
- Ensure all tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with program goals.
- Oversee teams of personnel working across various locations.
- Ensure coordination and collaboration within teams for seamless task completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between senior-level clients and your team.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients, ensuring tasks meet client expectations and operational requirements.
- Regularly update all stakeholders, ensuring transparent and clear communication.
- Lead meetings with clients and contractors to define, review, and adjust task plans and deliverables.
- Monitor and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain technical and financial reports, ensuring proper tracking and accountability.
- Be available for urgent communication with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Respond to any issues or inquiries within a two-hour window, ensuring prompt resolutions.
Qualifications
Experience You Will Bring:
- 10 years of experience
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise IT programs, including desktop services, customer experience, infrastructure operations, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Proven ability to manage large program financials and report to both customers and senior leadership.
- Expertise in building and leading diverse IT teams, including business managers, analysts, and project managers.
- Strong background in customer communication, collaboration, and delivering mission-critical support.
- Active PMP (or equivalent) certification
- Required: BS/BA in IT, Systems Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Preferred: Advanced degree in IT, Systems Engineering, Business Management or related field.
Clearance: Must meet DHS security clearance requirements up to TS/SCI.
- ITIL 4 Foundation or higher
- Certified Customer Service Professional (CSSP) or equivalent
- AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Azure Fundamentals
