About The Role
Peraton is seeking a Knowledge Management Associate. The Knowledge Management Senior Associate (KnM Sr. Assoc.) is responsible for continuity of DHA Global Service Center (DHAGSC) supported Knowledge Management (KnM) services, and to champion organization-wide knowledge sharing, so that the organization's know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with clients, partners, and stakeholders. The KnM Sr. Assoc. works under the direction of the KnM Leads and Director of Continual Service Improvement (CSI). The KnM Sr. Assoc. will interface with multiple levels of the organization as well as the client organization (DHA), to research problems and define areas for potential innovation/improvement.

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

- Knowledge Management Strategy Development:
- Assist with developing knowledge management strategies
- Understand and explain knowledge management framework
- Knowledge Base Article Development
- Strong technical knowledge of IT Industry
- Lead development and maintenance of knowledge articles
- Convey technical information in concise context
- Ability to write to various audiences
- Knowledge Base Management:
- Oversee and maintain knowledge base articles
- Ensure accuracy and accessibility of the knowledge base
- Implement content creation best practices
- Process Optimization and Improvement:
- Identify and improve inefficiencies in processes
- Develop and document SOPs
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Gather feedback and continuously improve processes
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing
- Engage with Customer leadership on new and existing requirements
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor impact and effectiveness using analytics
- Generate performance reports
- Use insights for strategic decisions
- Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Develop and enforce governance policies
- Maintain accountability for knowledge quality
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Identify and implement innovation opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
- Must be a U.S citizen
- Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or the ability to obtain one
- Strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communications skills, both oral and written.
- Strong critical thinking skills that facilitate technical innovation.
- Proven project management skills in setting priorities to meet project deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of Service Desk environments, specifically in the area of KnM.
- Ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers, staff, managers and peers.
- Ability to understand and apply knowledge of current industry standard KnM techniques.
- Microsoft Office 2016 Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Microsoft Visio, Project and SharePoint 2016
- ServiceNow platform
