Program Overview
Performs important mission in the DOD and that is deterrence of weapons of mass destruction, nuclear weapons, etc. Systems Engineers/Admins, DBA's, Release Engingeers, Data Scientists, Cyber Defense, and Service Desk collaborate together to ensure comprehensive mission success

We are seeking an experienced GCCS-J Administrator for our position in Bellevue, Nebraska.
The candidate that we hire will be expected to perform the following:

Minimum of 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years of applicable work or military experience will be accepted.

Details
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced GCCS-J Administrator for our position in Bellevue, Nebraska.
The candidate that we hire will be expected to perform the following:
- Install, configure and maintain networked UNIX, Linux and Windows systems to support mission requirements.
- Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages in accordance with program directives.
- Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum level of performance.
- Maintain system backups and database archives to support data and media recovery.
- Maintain user accounts according to government approved procedures.
- Provide computer support as needed to resolve hardware/software issues.
- Conduct routine hardware and software audits on workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures and configuration guidelines.
- Understand, adhere to, and implement established security policies.
- Perform proactive and reactive system administration to ensure the availability, integrity, and reliability data and services.
- Provide recommendations regarding system performance and capacity planning, including new technologies to enhance current systems and infrastructure.
- Requires participation in a rotating schedule for 24x7 support.
Qualifications

Clearance Requirement:
- Active DoD TS/SCI
- Install/configure/maintain the Red Hat operating system on VMware virtualization infrastructure
- Install/configure/maintain Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 operating systems
- Interpret and modify batch, shell, and PowerShell scripts.
- Knowledge of virtualization concepts and products (VMware)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) for user and groups
- Knowledge of Red Hat Operating Systems
- Knowledge of current Microsoft Operating Systems (Server & Workstation)
- Oracle/Sybase/Postgress database maintenance
- Java application servers (Tomcat, JBoss)
