SPA assists the DOD (DTRA) in developing leading edge technologies to counter all threats including WMD in support of CCMDs and transitioning these technologies to military services and COCOMs. SPA provides expertise across the full range of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives (CBRNE) WMD, Counter Improvised Threat and Countering Threat Network technologies to support understanding, detection, identification, characterization, denial, control, disabling, defeating, disposing, safeguarding the force, managing consequences, and test and evaluation in support of military and civilian operations.
SPA has a near-term need for a Sr. Training/Exercise/Readiness Analyst in the CWMD space to provide onsite support in Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities
The Sr. Training/Exercise/Readiness Analyst will support the development and execution of intricate and complex CWMD-focused training in support of U.S. national military strategy and regional contingency requirements. The candidate will develop, plan, and conduct CWMD joint training events aligned with DoD and USG-wide Tier-I exercises in order to ensure proficiency of collective staff mission execution. Identify strengths and weakness, review issues and lessons learned, and recommend and implement refinements to the training audience. Write information papers and brief GO/FO/SES-level leadership and apply familiarity with CWMD/CBRN policy and doctrine at the strategic and operational levels of war.
Expected Travel ~20%.

Qualifications
Required:
- 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience breifing high-level leaders to include general officers and SES officials.
- Expert knowledge of implementing all four phases of the DoD's Joint Training Manual for the Armed Forces of the United States (CJCSM 3500 series).
- Demonstrated experience in military operations, doctrine, and strategic and operational levels of warfare.
- Experience with global plans and d eveloping strategies and assigning program guidance.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
Desired:
- Master's Degree and 10 years of experience.
- Tier 1 exercise experience.
- Experience with and knowledge of nuclear operations.
- Experience working with CENTCOM, STRATCOM, SOCOM, EUCOM, or INDOPACOM J5.
