Job Description
Leverage prior action officer expertise to support a senior defense client for DoD strategy development, implementation planning, and acquisition, transition, and resource-related modernization and integration assessments.
Plan for and coordinate the development of comprehensive reports to improve the overall development and execution of organizational programs.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and program evaluation.
Provide management with information regarding the improvement of initiatives and strategic plans.
Analyze the implementation of new policies and allocation of needed resources.
Plan, coordinate, and develop comprehensive reports to improve the overall development and execution of organizational programs.
Qualifications
7 years' experience consisting of the following:
Experience with DoD Acquisition processes and policies supporting the development of recommended and required program documentation according to DoD regulations and directives
Experience as a self-starter, effectively executing the action and staff officer role on OSD, Joint Staff, or Service/Agency-level headquarter staff including developing strategies, decision briefs, and information papers and analyzing policy documents for the DoD
Experience developing correspondence using DoD tools, running in-person and virtual meetings using DoD provided capabilities, managing issues and action items, analyzing information for trends, and consolidating information for senior-level awareness and decision-making
Demonstrated ability to anticipate client and stakeholder requirements, perform proactively while paying strict attention to detail, and work with minimum oversight
Knowledge of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) or Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes
Ability to work independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Additional Qualifications
Experience working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, integrating and incorporating detailed technical data from multiple team members into executive-level decision-making products, and communicating the findings, insights, and recommendations to senior-level clients effectively
Experience with Program Management or Capability Portfolio Management
Expertise in writing and synthesizing data from multiple sources into comprehensive technical documents that are easy to comprehend
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI Clearance is required.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $100,000 - $170,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
