This position will provide business development for MicroTech with a focus on IT Sales to include networking services and IT solutions for Army customers.
Develop, draft, and execute plans, business strategies, and weekly reports and participate in and/or lead leasing activities
Actively develop and nurture strategic alliances with government clients to support the business development strategy
Assist in merging technical capabilities to support opportunities in emerging markets
Demonstrate knowledge of business development processes as well as MicroTech’s services and capabilities
Provide qualified recommendations for expanding capabilities and entering new business areas via acquisitions and other means
Maintain system of tracking, decision-making and reporting on business opportunities throughout the life cycle, from concept to contract
Collect/document intelligence about the customer, procurement, competition, and pricing.
Collaborate with the capture/proposal team on win themes and strategy
Identify potential Sales risks and development avoidance and mitigation strategies.
Establish resource needs such as consultants, key hires, etc.
Bachelor’s degree is required
A minimum of 3 years of direct Army sales experience
Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, with a solid sales experience and a proven track record of meeting sales goals, driving business, and assisting with corporate Business Development strategy
Knowledge and expertise in Federal procurement policies and practices, techniques for marketing and selling in the Federal space
Excellent written and oral communications skills are essential
Ability to visit with customers on an as-needed basis
