ManTech is seeking a qualified Senior Operations Analyst to support various defense-related projects, providing expertise in business systems analysis, program management, and Navy and DoD programs. The role involves working with internal teams, military personnel, and customers to ensure all aspects of the project lifecycle are met, from system integration to secure communications support.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and tasks for the NAVSEA Cybersecurity Engineering Division, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
  • Assist in managing and reporting program requirements, status, budgets, and schedules, ensuring senior leadership is informed with daily updates on ongoing and pending tasks and activities.
  • Lead data calls, data gathering, and develop briefings for senior leadership on project progress, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Coordinate the development of program plans across departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, and other administrative documents.
  • Oversee the onboarding and off-boarding process for NAVSEA staff, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define system requirements, proposing solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide technical analysis and troubleshooting to ensure system compatibility and operational efficiency.
  • Support system integration, software testing, and performance monitoring to ensure seamless operations.
  • Engage with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience in business systems analysis and cybersecurity, including:
    • Managing project budgets, schedules, and scopes, with the ability to track and report on program performance.
    • Experience with Navy or DoD communications systems and secure IT infrastructure.
  • Three (3) or more years working with Navy/DoD communications systems.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of Navy/DoD technical documentation.
  • Experience in providing end-user system training, especially for secure communication systems.
  • Familiarity with Navy operational requirements and military protocols.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and deliver technical reports and presentations.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and adapt to changing project needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance prior to starting the position.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and customers.
  • Occasional movement around the office to access files and equipment.
