We are seeking an experienced C-UAS Planner to support the Army Protection Plan (APP) C-UAS Planning objectives for 130i protection of critical facilities and assets from unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) at the Department of the Army's Management Office (DAMO) Fires, Pentagon City, VA. This role requires in-depth knowledge of C-UAS training requirements, commercial and state-sponsored UAS technology, and the APP. The successful candidate will provide critical planning services and contribute to mission success through effective C-UAS planning.

We are seeking an experienced C-UAS Planner to support the Army Protection Plan (APP) C-UAS Planning objectives for 130i protection of critical facilities and assets from unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) at the Department of the Army's Management Office (DAMO) Fires, Pentagon City, VA. This role requires in-depth knowledge of C-UAS training requirements, commercial and state-sponsored UAS technology, and the APP. The successful candidate will provide critical planning services and contribute to mission success through effective C-UAS planning.
Responsibilities
C-UAS Planning:
- Conduct C-UAS planning with DAMO Fires and stakeholders in line with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and US Army Protection Planning (APP) requirements for operating approved C-UAS systems on and around US Army installations.
- Ability to develop and brief plans for high-level decision-makers in DAMO Fires.
- Ability to process Requests for Information (RFI) from supported units regarding C-UAS protection objectives.
- Provide updates to UAS technology for Commercial and State sponsored UAS that will be integrated into the APP.
- Provide input and analysis of US Army C-UAS systems performance to support future procurement and refinement of C-UAS system requirements.
- Provide lessons learned for implementing C-UAS protection plans and recommend changes to US Army protection requirements.
- Provide expertise in C-UAS planning to meet the objectives of the 130i mission.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance implementation of the 130i regarding C-UAS protection measures for facilities and assets.
- In-depth knowledge of C-UAS requirements and processes related to the 130i and the APP.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Coordinate with military and civilian agencies to align C-UAS efforts with operational needs.
- Conduct briefings with staff and stakeholders to provide updates and recommend improvements to support mission success.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This position operates onsite on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.

Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
- Active Secret clearance at the time of application with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI. This position is not open for clearance sponsorship, upgrade, or reactivation.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree, required.
- Years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Bachelors in engineering or related STEM, preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Medium to high level operational planning experience.
- Significant C-UAS knowledge.
- Demonstrated staff-level C-UAS planning experience.
- Hands on knowledge of C-UAS systems and operational requirements.
- Familiarity with the 130i and APP mission objectives and implementation strategy.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to develop complex plans in high-stakes environment to meet US Army readiness requirements.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience with DAMO Fires and subordinate military command structures.
- Knowledge of electronic warfare and related C-UAS operational clearance processes.
- Familiarity with DoD, FAA, and FCC approval procedures for C-UAS systems.
